She uses a variety of evidence based practices with a trauma informed, culturally humble, and strengths based approach to care. Her clients are leaders in education, politics, business , media, tech , government, and more.
In 2016 she founded PowerOfCare while in graduate school at Howard University. It was through her own healing journey and experience with stress as a student that fueled her passion to blog about wellness and self-care. The Power of Care blog evolved to a YouTube Channel and opened up doors for Brianna to speak at schools, churches, government and non profit agencies, and prisons. Brianna received the Graduate Student of the Year and Advocacy Award from the Howard University School of Social Work Student Council Association. Brianna Dance was tasked with elaborating on a topic entitled "Discovery Through Study". In this specific setting the objective of this message is to encourage, urge and motivate the audience to continue to study. learn, and search for knowledge. Brianna was asked to convey the point of how vitally important it is to read, meditate, and study to personally improve, develop, grow and become stronger mentally and spiritually. Also, to remind the audience that studying for self improvement is a life long journey that yields great rewarding benefits.

“Brianna has a unique understanding of the intricate role spirituality plays in mental health and holistic wellbeing. Her down-to-earth and pragmatic articulation of this symbiotic relationship not only gave her audience tangible takeaways to implement in their everyday lives, but truly addressed and laid the foundation to dismantle the real stigma of mental health in the Black Church. More pressingly, Brianna is able to connect with people in an authentic way that transcends unfamiliarity and takes rest in a deeply empathic and vulnerable place- the place true healing can begin. ”
